Teeth Whitening

Tooth enamel is designed to protect the teeth from the effects of chewing, trauma and acid attacks caused by sugar. Over time the white enamel is worn down, becoming thinner and more transparent, which allows the inner, darker core material of teeth to show through.

During routine chewing, millions of micro-cracks occur in the enamel. It is these cracks, that gradually fill up with stains and debris from food and drink. As a result, the teeth eventually develop a dull, appearance. Teeth whitening removes the stains, giving a whiter, brighter appearance.

What we offer
White Teeth

We have been performing teeth whitening at Willow Street Dental for many years with great success. The method we use involves custom made whitening trays. We take records of the teeth and send these away to have bleaching trays made. These are then checked to make sure they fit correctly. The trays are filled with the whitening agent and worn for a couple of hours a day for a week or two depending on the degree of whitening wanted.

Currently we offer this privately for £275.
